KINGS OF THRACE. Lysimachos, 305-281 BC. Stater (Gold, 19 mm, 8.47 g, 12 h), Tomis, circa 200-150. Diademed head of Alexander the Great to right, with horn of Ammon over his ear. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ Athena seated left, holding Nike, crowning the king's name, in her right hand and leaning with her left arm on shield; behind, transverse spear; in inner left field, NI; below throne, TO; in exergue, ornate trident to left. AMNG 2473. Müller 278. Very rare. Struck from slightly worn dies and with minor die rust, otherwise, very fine.
